Rain forecast in many cities across country,



ISLAMABAD: Dry and warm weather has been forecasted in many cities however areas in upper Punjab including the capital are likely to receive rain along with heavy wind, Geo News reported Saturday.

Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Hazara Division are also expecting rain while southern part of the country will remain in the grip of hot weather.

The upper parts of the country are already enjoying recent drizzling and will continue to do so while many areas in Sindh and Balochistan will remain under the effect of warm weather, Director General of Met Department, Arif Mahmood said.

Highest level of 59 mm of rain was recorded in Syedpur area of Islamabad while Airport area in Lahore received 53 mm of rain.

Many other areas including Kohat, Muree, Malamjabba, Sargodha, Rawlakot, Balakot, Joharabad and Kotli also received rain on Friday.
